Story Telling Time. Once upon a time..

Hey fellas,

No spoiler alerts this time. Just another fictional story I would love to share about with you guys. There’s a lesson to learn from the story. No spoilers. ūüėČ

I think I was about 12 or 13 I can’t really recall it, when my dad told me a story about a man who lived with his wife and infant son in the countryside. For the sake of the story, I’ll name the man Jim. He’s fictional, so don’t worry. Any Jim whose reading this blog, rest assure, its not you. *grin*

Back to the story,

Jim and his family were very happy although they do not have much in life. Imagine your typical country lifestyle where there were no electricity and tap water (Yes, you should be very grateful for that). But, they have everything that life has to offer. To feed his family, Jim worked as a farmer, fisherman and a hunter at the same time. He was a really hardworking man. The wife would stay at home and restock their water supply from a river not far from their home. In the morning, Jim would stay at his farm to work on his plants and vegetables. During noon, he would explore the forest and hunt rabbits and deer or wild boar if luck was on his side. When the weather is good, he would go to the sea to fish. He returns home in the evening usually with foods for his family. As he enters through the door, his wife would greet him and say, ‘Thank you for your hard work today’. Days were serene, and night time were silence. It was peaceful. They were getting by and they were happy.

Not very far from them, lives a very wealthy family¬†whom just moved in from the big city (ironic right?rich people?at the countryside?). Well, in the country where I live, some countryside peeps are rich. Let’s continue with the story. They were very rich, and they have maids who work for them day and night. They have people who prepared them tea in the morning, and stand behind the door while they (rich family) were having breakfast. *typical I know*. They were happy too, living in the countryside far away from civilization and enjoy the cool fresh air while making butt-loads of money with the business they owned. Again for the sake of the story lets name the rich family guy, James.

One day, Jim was on his way to the beach and reach his small, yet sturdy fishing boat when he saw James and his family were having fun at the beach. Jim took a glance at James wife and she was a fairly young woman roughly around her 30s. While James looked like in his 50s. They have 2 daughters. Some maids and butler were there again to give them some kind of service. Lavish lifestyle. Then Jim started to think, “would I be able to have what they have. I would give everything to have his (James) life”, Jim said to himself. That night when he returned home, Jim were delightfully welcomed by his wife like he usually would have. And he didn’t say anything. Having lost in his deep thoughts. He couldn’t sleep thinking of a way how to obtain the wealth that James have.

Jim was fairly a smart man, so like everyone else he start doing his own thinking. While he was farming, while he was hunting and while he was fishing he think and think. Finally, he built up his courage and meet with James. James politely asked Jim the reason why he came. Jim then asked James about all of the questions that he had in order for him to prosper like James did. ¬†James replied to all of Jim’s question and explained his answer so Jim would understand everything he said.

Jim replied shockingly,

“That simple? You would provide service to the others and they pay you money for that? And the best part is that you do not need to do it you yourself?”.

Smiling to himself, Jim had hope. And he started to follow James’ advice from A to Z and Jim is a very diligent man. Thinking and motivate himself that at the end of the road, he will be able to give the best of life to his family. He worked on his plan days and nights, and he act on it. Never resting. No night sleep. Just working. Relentlessly. His wife got worried about him and tried to tell him that he need to get some rest. But he ignored it, thinking that he will soon achieve his goal. Thinking the faster that he gets the result, the earlier he could achieve his dream.

While he was working on his plan and business, he forgets that he need to farm, hunt and fish for his family. He forgets his real purpose in life. He forgets his responsibility in search for the bigger happy ending. Not long after that, the weather took a bad turn and they were not able to stock enough food for the flood season. His crop was dying. There were no wild boars to hunt and the sea was rough. James and his family moved back to town, waiting out for the flood season to end. As for Jim and his family, things does not look good. For months they tried to ration whats left of their food stock. His young infant, was the first to die due to extreme food and malnutrition insufficiency. Soon after his son, his wife got ill being sadly driven by her son’s death. And soon died as the result of the shock. Just one simple and honest mistake, thinking that he could provide a better life for his family and ignoring his supposed responsibility. Now having lost both of his loved ones. Jim, having his spirit crushed and lost all of his reason to live, committed suicide himself.

“Most of our problems in life are because of two reasons: We act without thinking, or we kept on thinking without action”

Wow that escalated rather quickly doesn’t it?lol. Well don’t worry it din”t really happen, it was fictional. My dad would tell me a lot of stories about Jim being a human who made mistakes (always with him ended up dead. lol), and to learn from his stories. I would never took life very lightly or else it will happen to me too! What was the lesson though?Do not take risk? Be grateful that our life isn’t as bad as we think it is? All I can tell you is this,

Jim would have saved his family from famine and hunger if he would just continue with what he was doing all along, while working for his business plan whenever he is at home at night time (basically if he has extra time).

Never look away from your real responsibility and purpose. It is possible to raise your standard of living but you need to do it smartly. Jim thinks that, the faster he work on his plan, perfected it and take action ,the faster that he do not need to feed his family by farming. This is where instant gratification kicks in, he wants quick result. What is even more sad is that, Instant Gratification happened all around you. Some that you aware of, some that you do not. (I’m not asking you to hold your needs to urinate! Don’t do that, it isn’t healthy). ¬†Ironically even myself still find myself doing something impatiently and that is bad, and I’m going to fix it. We all need it fixed. Nothing good comes out from hurrying. Patience and persistence are the real game. You see, there are no overnight success stories, its the reality. We all know that before the “overnight success”, there have to be a price to pay (call me old fashioned if you will but I believe, something needed to be given first, before you take). Sacrifices needed to be made, usually its your entertainment that needed to go first. The bad habits that you have. How do you expect to become the best, if you are not giving it your very best. There is no success without tonnes of hard work and little sacrifices. (Do not kill someone for it, that is very bad).

Well, if Jim’s timing were spot-on they would have made it before the bad season came by. And got rich by the end of the story. But that was not the point, point is we can never know when the economic’s bubble burst would occurred. We don’t, and no one can 100% prove that. Even the experts will tell you this, “I might be wrong”. The kicker is, it will. The economy and market will crash. And its always the best move to be prepared. Poor or rich, everyone will be affected.

We often hear how successful people earn their living today. Trust me, it is not overnight success. And I’m sure I’m not writing this long story here to tell you that entrepreneurship is easy. Its not. Trust me. If you are not willing to sacrifice a little bit of everything, not do the hard work yourself, and do not open your heart to criticism, trust me I am not jinxing you but you will have rougher days ahead of you. There’s a reason why they say “you have to earn your way to financial freedom“. It is never an overnight success story if all you do is sit quietly and never took any massive actions. And if you do take action, do it wisely. Do not sacrifice what is important in your life (I believe you know what it is), and earn your true freedom.

Things that has been happening thus so far around us. *spoiler inside*

Hey all to fellow readers and bloggers,

I was watching Walking Dead season 7 Episode 1 the other day (I know, Kinda late) and I was thinking, Glenn’s and Abraham’s death sparked a lot of controversial issues as his death, as I quote from the writer “unexpected as well, but essential for story growth”. Lol. And I’m sure that Glenn would agree with that as well as he said “I’ll find you” romantically to his wife Maggie as Negan (Supervillain that carries bat and named it Lucille) bashed his head like it suppose to spill out some candies. It was as if he knew his death was not optional in order for Maggie to grow stronger in the f**ked up zombie world they’re living in. Sorry Spoiler inside for the fellas who have not watched it yet.¬†

But more on to that, It got me thinking when I saw some fan reactions saying he was not suppose to die. Are the fans suppose to be the director now?lol. Well long story short, Why do we care so much about some fictional characters in some serious “just got back into dark age again settings” series. Well yeah I know, Its guilty pleasure. Not trying to say anything bad here since I’m one of the biggest fan of the series myself. Can’t wait to see Rick slash some Negan throats. Right?lol. Gory?yeah.¬†

For myself though, I firmly believe anything that is created up till today and also in the future do good in our life. Old things, new things, new trends, dying trends, throwback, old meets new and more. From entertainment to gardening. From booking game tickets to working 9-5 jobs. A-Z list of items in past, present and future and I mean it, EVERY single thing out there, is good. Even the bad ones (experience and things). Except for the ones that will kill you. (There are, and you need to know what are those for eg: brain parasites and etc). But like I said, its all good. It is what we called life. Good and bad shape your growth.

If there is one thing that I learnt by watching my favorite series (walking dead) is that it taught me, people tend to show their true colors when they are pushed to the limit. And how they react to things that is happening around them. Talking about things that is happening around us, Internet Marketing is going on a craze since last year (or maybe even longer)! I could only assume that this was the result of getting a job is tougher than completing your degree. lol. I’m not kidding, It is happening. To me and my brother, and many other out there.

The reason why I barely had time to write new contents is that I have been looking around internet and out there for information, and believe me some for free. (and some you need to pay for hefty prices). In regardless, Its becoming a thing nowadays. With faster internet speed and smartphones, making money online and Internet marketing becoming even more saturated (Jack Ma wasn’t kidding). While I’m here talking about it people are out there making a living! And its real. And do able for the real action takers. Me myself am trying it out and making some small progress each day. The coolest part is, I’m learning something new! Almost everyday. I guess life is not complete without learning. *no jokes*. If you really want to make it out there, I suggest you pick a book and read. Or if you are lazy like I do sometimes, just google some articles out. You would be surprise about where the knowledge will take you. Not going to spew some hardcore knowledge like¬†SEO¬†(good read if you are into SEO, for legal reasons, I do not take any credit for the article) or Email Marketing¬†(my personal Email marketing genius role model, again I am not making any affiliate offer) here so rest assure, don’t get your pen for tips. kidding. lol. You should. Thank me later for checking it out. It will be worth your time.

During the journey of looking for the best place to start as a total newbie, and believe me, there are tonnes of real opportunities aside from your typical facebook peeps who post promotional ads like “make money easy programs” or my favorite so far “make money fast with proven system!”. Look, I have nothing against those people who would are generous enough to outsource the tedious work to other people and give them a little bit of commission while at it but at the very least teach them some proper understanding of internet marketing or as they say “make money online”. Believe me, filling up surveys, is over saturated. And its real. The problem is, it came from outsourcing (you read that correctly, there is such thing). SO learn more, making money over the internet is a real opportunity. Everything good, has its own bad side as well. It is not passive (it can be if you work hard enough in my opinion), its pure hard work (if you are lazy, this is not for you), learning curve is very steep due to saturated information (and this can be bad if you load them all at once!) and finally, some information out there can be misleading.

But don’t take it from me, just go out there and try. Many individuals out there are more than willing enough to give you a helping hand and answer your every questions. I personally followed Gary Vaynerchuck, Alex Becker, Anik Singal, Vladi and many more (It will be a long list of names so I won’t do it here). I am very sure some of you who read this blog (or whatever) are familiar with the names. And none of them related to each other (Different business models). Like I said, we are on the journey. Me and brother do not have the *looking for the shining object* sickness, but we are looking at the best of the best people who are out there making some serious entrepreneurship or e-preneurship‚ĄĘ to learn from. I believe anyone out there should too. We are living in an era of which trades are made from the internet, and sooner than we realize the whole world will be purely driven by it. Quoting from my favorite Business Authority figure Anthony Robbins, “Money is where preparation meets opportunity”.

Hello to all fellow readers.

TIME CHANGES. And as the title say, its both blessing and a curse. Let me tell you why. Not too long ago, our traditional education was of the highest value. I’d say it still is, but our current economy say its not. Look around, political organization restructure, new deals in AND between countries, commodities prices went up and down as if it was a roller coaster and many more and all of these, happens for a reason, changes in the market and economy. And its always going to be changing. Who knows what tomorrow brings. Which company will be the next in line of,¬†microsoft? Facebook?Instagram?¬†With our media and internet propagate that Vine and Twitter shutting down. Are they really shutting down?Is Twitter shutting Vine down?Who knows and its difficult to tell. All I know, It causes impact to the market.

But what will be the next best invention humans can come up with. No one knows, and probably not much that actually care to what it means. I am not going to waste 8 seconds of your life but hear me out. Anyone, I mean ANYONE. Who stumbled upon my article while searching for the word MONEY. Or UGLY for that matter (I do not want to know why). Jokes aside, thank you for reading. With our current network and media passing around false/true news, whose going to say “it is real this time”. Really? Are we going to just believe the first news that we get? Believe me, this is very important to those who are into online trading. While most of us would say “Of course not..I’m going to do a little bit of research, compare it to other resources, then come up with my own conclusion and present my findings”. Really? No one does that anymore. No one has the “time”. Everybody is busy’in away sticking their nose in jobs and works and careers. This is when all media fallacies¬†and fake news, impact us and fill our brains with irrelevant information. Remember the¬†news on impending doomsday back in 2011/2012?¬†Instilling unneeded fear into the locales while diverting away their eyes from issues and topics that really matter. ¬†For example ;¬†Financial security. ¬†

Question: How do I know if the news on media and social network are of credible                           sources? How do I differentiate it?

Answer:    EDUCATION and The UNDYING will To Learn.

The answer seemed simple, yet, why does almost everyone kept falling into the trap of rat race and worst even bankruptcy. With the drastic (or not for some well equipped fellows out there) changes, reports all around the world have confirmed that our fresh graduates are failing at their job (IF they were to get hired). And why does this happen? In my opinion, one and one reason only. Our education system, especially in Malaysia and most probably multiple education system in different countries, does not expose and equip our students with the reality of working for Companies and also¬†life outside of school. It’s stressful, more than what it was before due to MASSIVE competition with emergence of new schools (business) and our FLUCTUATING economy due to multiples of reason(s). One strike and you’re out my friends. Your job is not as secure as you think it is anymore today. Heck, entrepreneurship is even more unsecured. But hey, at the very least, you control your own destiny and design your life¬†however you want. SUCCESSES AND FAILURES ARE DETERMINED BY THE CAPTAIN OF THE SHIP THAT IS YOUR LIFE. And you as the captain. Are you well equipped?

But personally, I believed that in the future, not knowing a fraction of how to manage your payday/salary will get you in trouble. Even as we speak right now, everyone keeps on piling their loans, buying items they deemed “necessity”. Stop wasting MONEY & TIME on things that does not provide you growth and profit¬†when you know you are still budgeting your salary for it. STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING. YOU DON’T HAVE ALL THE TIME YOU THINK YOU HAVE. Sacrifice it away. For your own good. Take time to read, learn and work hard on making sure that your money, will last till the day you die. Count again if you think your retirement money is enough to last if you were to live until you are 70 or 80 years old. I don’t think so. Or start a business when you are 50?60 years old?. Again, I don’t think so. If you understand what I just said, watch the video I provided in the link. I take no credit for the video, I’m just here to share¬†with you one of my favorite figure in entrepreneurship. #ASKGARYVEE

Gary Vee Will tell you whats important!

I’d rather struggle, endure the pain, and embrace failure to create my own destiny than to live an easy life, sheltered from ugly truth that could kill me in my¬†sleep. Again, I’m glad you stick it out with me till the end of this article and decide to take action today for yourself and your dreams.

Hello from Malaysia for my fellow bloggers and readers worldwide. I am one of the representative of a new founded company named Grateful Kids Fortunate Kids. As the name suggested, the reason why I started this blog post is because that part of me are very grateful to the life that I had for the past 10 years. I do not have good life as per community define it, but I am grateful that it taught me so much. Not to be just strong, but also created a vision and mission for me.

Looking at how the economy has been for the past 5 years, I have been drowned with no employment. The fact is, this problem is not just mine but also a persistent problems for fresh¬†graduates worldwide as we can see in the news and social media networks and its happening as you read this blog. This issue affected mainly the millennial age groups and some are forced to take a job that has nothing to do with their certifications. Money well spent on education I’d say. I was lucky enough to be hired for awhile by an oil/gas company and a construction company back in 2012 and 2016 through having a background in Mechanical Engineering degree. I graduated back in 2014 with flying colors at the University of Sunderland, UK. As you can guess, I was living of well on my father’s salary to have an education outside of my birthplace. But all it took to destroy my opportunity is by local companies to label the potential hires as “we value experienced elites more than new graduates”. They will deny the fact, but reality is the real fact that we need to acknowledge. This is the reason why I say “lucky” because I was fortunate enough to be hired with the degree I have for 3 months. I appreciate the experience because it gave me a little insight of “having a job to make a living” and arrive at my current vision and mission.

Me and a friend of mine who I call  as my own brother, started this company to set out on a journey to help unfortunate kids starting locally and aim to venture globally in this mission.

Good questions already been asked by few of the audience that I had in this journey.

  1. How do I help the kids?
  2. How do I define unfortunate
  3. How feasible is the vision and mission?
  4. Do I have a solid plan yet to execute my mission?
  5. What is the aim? And how would this benefit me and my brother
  6. Does my idea could be accepted and adopted locally and globally?
  7. Am I credible enough to carry out this mission

As you can see, the list of questions goes on and on. These will be the challenges that will be accepted by our new founded company. GKFK, will shelter the vision and mission of its projects and ventures in the future. And as one of the owner of this company, I will uphold its vision and mission.
